The Claretian Family invites everyone to celebrate the International Mother Earth Day, a special moment to renew our commitment to care for our Common Home. This year’s prayer proposal has been prepared by Fr. Efraín Mamani, CMF, a Claretian missionary serving in Sri Lanka.

Inspired by the theme “Coming back home – Our Power, Our Planet,” the celebration reminds us that the Earth is a living gift from God, sustaining all life, yet increasingly threatened by climate change, pollution, and loss of biodiversity. Through a simple path of reflection and action, participants are invited to examine their relationship with creation and take steps toward a more responsible and sustainable lifestyle.

Rooted in Scripture and Claretian spirituality, this prayer is an invitation to rediscover our connection with the Earth and with one another. May it help us grow in awareness of our shared responsibility to protect and care for our Common Home.
