The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change – Conference of Parties (UNFCCC – COP 28) is scheduled to take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from November 30 to December 12.
Just a few months ago, our application for accreditation with UNFCCC was provisionally accepted, granting us the opportunity to participate in the conference. The official acceptance will be finalized during the conference.
The Fondazione Proclade Internazionale-Onlus is represented at COP28 by Bro Robert Omondi, CMF (first week, November 30 to December 6) and Fr Rohan Dominic, CMF (second week, December 7 to 12).
As in previous COPs, we will closely monitor COP 28 from November 30 onwards, providing daily updates to keep everyone interested informed about the proceedings inside the conference hall.
Starting today, November 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, we will also circulate pre-conference countdown information regarding COP 28.
COP 28 arrives at a crucial moment for international climate action, offering a pivotal opportunity to steer the world towards a more sustainable path.
